Condolences

Condolence From: Martin Grant
Condolence: Aloha to the family!

I'm sorry to hear about Kevin, and send my best to all of you. We know Kevin is safe in Jehovah's memory until such time as he is called to a perfect life here on earth.

Robert, you may remember me as many years ago you and I were friends in the 1970's when we both lived in Kaneohe on Oahu. We had some fun times. It would be good to hear from you, please feel free to e mail me anytime.

Again, I send my Aloha and respect to you and your entire family.

Condolence From: Harolyne Grant
Condolence: Dear Nancy, Walter-&-Penny, Robert, Amelia-&-Maxwell, Harriet-&-Delmar Jr., Nancy-&-Peter, and extended Family and Friends of Kevin:

I was saddened to learn of the death of Kevin on March 31 2017. Please accept my deepest sympathy at your loss. I remember the Book Studies I used to attend at your house in Crown Terrace with my two kids.

May I renew your Hope by sharing some verses from the Bible that bring comfort when we suffer loss?

First, it was never our Creator's purpose that anyone should born with imperfections or die, ever! When He put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, they had the prospect of endless life, in ageless bodies, in perfect health, on a perfect Earth (Genesis 1:28). Adam and Eve could have passed that life on to us, but they sinned and lost everything for themselves ... and us. (Romans 5:12)

Next, it comforted me and softened my feelings toward Jehovah God to learn that it is Satan & Adam who caused imperfection, aging, sicknesses like cancer, and death -- not God (Hebrews 2:14).

Finally, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are our guarantees that this Earth will yet be a peaceful, global paradise and that Kevin (and countless millions including Walter Sr.) will be resurrected to really enjoy it! Remember Jesus' words at John 5:28-29a and John 11:25: "I am the resurrection and the life," and "all those in the memorial tombs ... will be resurrected." Until then Kevin, Rest In Peace.

May you have comfort and peace from these promises until the day when you can be reunited with a young (Job 33:25) and healthy (Isaiah 33:24) Kevin.

With deepest sympathy and genuine respect,
Harolyne Grant
